2nd Single Out Now!!!

With Burnt Daylight's debut single “The Ghost” doing so well,  with it being played on BBC Introducing prior to release, multiple glowingly positive reviews and the song quickly clocking up plays on Spotify in just 2 weeks, the band released their 2nd single on Friday 24th October.

“You'd Know" was recorded at Studio 8830 during the same sessions that The Ghost was tracked.

You’d Know is quite different to The Ghost, still using quite a funky bass line, but introducing heavier tones which give the song a mysterious and impactful energy. The song is about wishing you could be with someone but they’re way out of your leaugue and theres just no chance."

And a killer solo - listen to “You'd Know” here or click on the artwork to the left.

After their 2025 performance at Exeter Phoenix, Burnt Daylight — a four-piece indie band from Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton — have gone from classroom rehearsals to international airplay. Despite not being the winning band, they’ve launched their debut single, ‘The Ghost’, followed by their second release, 'You'd Know' and performed on regional festival stages."
